Well Done, Son

On the first day of September, Caden received the Wilston Well Done Award for "his approach to school".  He has been working hard all year on his letters, phonics and now his reading homework, and we are very proud of his achievements.

The year started out a little rocky, with very little confidence in letter recognition, and definitely no real comprehension of phonics.  With a lot of work at school, countless talks with other parents, a few help books, and some serious dedication both on his part and mommy and daddy's, I do think we have achieved a breakthrough, shortly after this award was presented.
